Green are the grasses of your little paradise,
a world inside a world,almost out of sight;
In my room, the thought of your heaven flies,
keeps me awake in the stillness of this night.
The evening's imbued with morning light,
this reverie’s still so bright;
How to wander in dreamland's bliss?
If your wonderland's out of reach?
I do envy the roses on that spot,
even the dry leaves on that ground;
Wish I was a dweller of that place,
living fain under your rays;
But I'm nil but a simple guest,
relishing a sojourn while it exists.
Conspicuous are your smiles,
they're the loveliest in my eyes;
Precious are they, dear taciturn man,
I wonder if you ever mind.
The way you move and how you talk
are so much better than any book;
Interesting to read, special enough,
more inspiring than a flying dove.
I still recall that afternoon,
the moment I discerned your existence;
That second, you took me to the moon,
In a streak of lightning, I met the pieces of universe;
But, I must say you're the most winsome of all,
for you caught the eyes of a blinded soul.
