In Loneliness, Dusk Cries for Miracles

If only chances could save them.If only...

The sun is about to swim deeperin the sea. The countless days are no longer infinite. The life they started isabout to face its death. The plane is waiting for him somewhere. He is here nownot because he wants to spend time with her just like the old times in thephotographs of yesterday. He is here because he is leaving anon, so soon thathe does not even have enough minutes to heed her good bye message. The secondsare running away, pulling him closer to an eternity away from her.

If only chances could save them.Tears start falling – streaming down her face.

He seems so unaffected. Perhaps,he is not even lonely at this moment. The plane that is waiting, a couple ofhours here, will take him to the sapphire sky of his long lost dream. Lookingfrom the windows of such, he will surely enjoy the paradise from his childhoodreveries. He will relish the clouds outside, definitely, without even realizingthat down the land is the girl who believes that heaven is where he is. Fromthe top, he could never notice her tears as she wonders where to find anotherheaven, a lovely spot away from him.

If only chances could save them. Her tears cease.

She needs to smile. He shouldnever feel her pain. He does not have to feel any gulit and if she continues toweep, she knows that he will carry the burden in his journey. She wants him tobe his world, at some point, but she does not like to be a world on hisshoulders. She smiles at him, a thumping wide smile that would gloss over heraching heart – and her fear to see their roads part. She really hopes that hedoes not vide her dying whole, which is being concealed by a mirthful soul. Hisdecision is final. For now she has to be blissful to discern him hold theprofound freedom that he desires.

If only chances could save them.He is about to go.

The grace of the morning light, the left over parcels of dawn, slowly says goodbye as the waves continuetickling their feet this afternoon. The summer breeze embraces them, tellingthem to wait until the rainy season perishes in time and gives way to thewarmth of April wind again. She does not know where the angels are at thismoment. They seem to derelict them. Their absences are present all over theplace. To the setting sun, she gazes without a trace of bliss. This moment isperfectly made for a painful ending, for a bitter closure to stop her fromdreaming. But, would she ever refrain?

If only chances could save them.If only. But, even the chances are all dead.
